Kids invited to free Easter Egg Hunt at the Timbers of Shorewood
Local children of all ages and their families are invited to the 5th annual Hippity-Hop Easter Egg Hunt from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at The Timbers of Shorewood, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood.
At noon, toddler age children from one to three years-old will participate in an indoor egg hunt in a balloon-filled room. The outdoor egg hunt on the Timbers' grounds is for all children ages one and up beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The egg hunt will feature prizes for everyone, along with plenty of kid-friendly entertainment including:
· Photos with the Easter Bunny
· "A Zoo to You" Petting Zoo consisting of 20-30 animals including: goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, rabbits, pot bellied pig, mini donkey, llama and calf.
· Caricatures by Dan Laib
· Juggler Mike Vondruska
· Magicians from Society of American Magicians, Joliet Chapter
· Moon walk jump-and-fun
· Games and prizes
· Cartoons
· Sweet snacks, popcorn, cookies and hot chocolate
The Timbers of Shorewood is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services.
