South Shore Fiber Optic Line

Really, you thought I was going to say "rail line", while it still has a rail line, it now has more than high speed trains on its tracks it now have high-speed fiber optic lines.

This new system opens the doors to many new possibilities in NW Indiana for additional businesses and extra savings to those already in business. The rail line and the fiber optic line run 75 miles from the South Bend Airport to the Kennsingtion station downtown Chicago.

My, very own wife, Mary Woodson takes the train near daily to Chicago where she works as an Actuary for CNA. If you ever see the skyline of Chicago and see the big red building that is hers.

The providor of the new service is ComControl and they say communities and companies will now have choices that will deliver options that will reduce cost and yet have a greater capacity for NW Indiana

This week The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District which operates the South Shore train line will be hosting several informative discussion panel for IT professional in the NW Indiana Corridor to learn more about cost savings and the great speed.
