For us, a few Social Networks have been picking up speed in the form of contacts and referrals in the last few weeks, perhaps the exponential growth factor is kicking in lately?
I know at our Company's recent convention, one of the speakers (Terry Watson) promoted Facebook (be-friend us - look up Jeff Safrin :) and Linked in ( link to us... look up Grace Safrin) as musts for REALTORS to join and use nowadays.
Many supportive services to our profession of Real Estate Sales are getting on the bandwagon.
You probably have noticed this already, Hotpads.com allows you to sydicate your listed properties for sale to Twitter, (follow us = Safrin )
and
Postlets.Com now has a selection of links to syndicate Property For Sale to various Social sites including Linked in .
In just several months, there have been over a thousand REALTORS who've joined the 1st group we started on Linked in,,,,,,We invite you to join the REALTOR Referrals Group !
Today we started a new group on Linked in called : Indiana Real Estate For Sale..if you are using 
Postlets.com it's easy to syndicate your Indiana Property Listing to this group - we invite you to join this group as well !

I post to hotpads.com but, did not realize that they also posted to Twitter but, my AR posts contain a bit more info than the hotpads ad and it goes directly to Twitter too. That is interesting though--I wonder if it does it automatically??!

Thanks Grace! I have Hotpads via Point2 and via Backpage so, it is automatic and I don't enter it directly on Hotpads. I think I'm going to check it out with one and see how it goes! Thank you so much for this info...

Fetla's closed a few years back - it was the most unusual place I have ever shopped LOL ...I'm not surprised you remember that praticular experieince about life in NW IN :)

You mentioned Terry Watson at your meeting. I wonder if he told you his story about "perception is everything" where he gets on an empty elevator to go meet his colleagues and mentors. At the next floor a stranger gets on the elevator. Terry then notices a terrificly wicked smell which he knows did not come from himself. The stranger gets off at the next floor leaving Terry almost in tears from the smell. Terry's destination is the next floor to his relief. The elevator door opens and all the people Terry was going to meet get in the elevator. OMG! LOL! Perception is everything!
