Evelyn Bay Coffee Companyis hosting a "Hot Meets Cold" tasting event on Saturday, October 24th from 1 - 3 pm. "Hot", of course, is coffee! "Cold" is Valpo Velvet Ice Cream! Made in Valparaiso, Indiana since 1947, Valpo Velvet is the world's finest gourmet ice cream. Saturday is your chance to try a free sample of both!

If you get there on Saturday and haven't had lunch yet, don't fret! Evelyn Bay Coffee Company offers a wide variety of sandwiches and wraps. My favorite is their Chicken BLT Wrap! It's one of those items on the menu that makes it hard to try anything else because it is so full of flavor. Now if you just want a snack to go with your coffee, then a chocolate chip scone is highly recommended by me, of course. Their bagels are very tasty, too, especially the multi-grain bagel!
