Crepes are one of those tasty foods any time of the year but, for me, spring and summer are the time I enjoy crepes the most at JD's Crepe Co. in Valparaiso, Indiana. Why, you ask. Well, because it is the best time for fresh fruit inside those already yummy crepes.

How can you make something that's already super tasty even better? Well, JD succeeds in doing this with his crepes by using the freshest fruit he can find on a daily basis. My absolute favorite are crepes filled with fresh strawberries and bananas with just a bit of Nutella and whipped cream. Oh, talk about delightful! No, I'm not very good at sharing my dessert crepes at all! Just ask my husband because he ends up getting his own every time we go to JD's Crepe Co.

I guess it's obvious where my brain is but I've got to tell you that JD's Crepe Co. in Valparaiso, Indiana also has a choice of many delicious savory crepes available for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. All crepes are made to order and you can watch your order being created while your mouth waters in anticipation!

The selection of savory crepe combinations is large from vegetarian combinations to just about anything you can think of. You can actually come up with your own unique blend from their choice of ingredients. This is what I usually do (before dessert, of course).

JD's Crepe Co is conveniently located in Cumberland Crossing at 3125 N Calumet Ave in Valparaiso, Indiana. Close enough to walk to from the YMCA so drop by and grab a bite to eat before or after your fun at the Valparaiso branch YMCA.
