"oh, you and Tommy Lasorda. I hate Tommy Lasorda". That is my favorite line of all time as Chevy Chase punches the picture of Tommy LaSorda in the movie "Fletch". Thanks for a good laugh, I know that was not the meaning of your post, but our minds work in strage ways. Hey, Tracy and I are distant cousins. BTW, I am huge Tommy fan. I am going to try to make it to this event. thanks for the information
have a great 2008
Dave:
Great !! I know Coach Tracy and the entire VU Baseball Team would love the support and your attendance! If you are able to make it please look for myself there as I will obviously be attending. Have a Great Day!
Jeff
Wow -- turn on the music: was "Wild Horses" and the Stones planned. Fun listening. We have a lot of sportsmen in our family and since you featured a spot on Tommy Lasorda, I'll mention that I have two nephews in the Majors: Daryl Rasner with the Yankees, and Jake Rasner with the Texas Rangers -- both are pitchers. God bless you both, and rah rah Valparaiso University Athletics!
Like you listing widget; I must check into it!
Terry:Thank you for your comment and reading our blog. I will def. look for your nephews this April once the Baseball Season Opens and WOW..the Yankees. Grace and I got to meet George Steinbrenner at Tavern on the Green..we had just got engage in Central Park and YES in the middle of a baseball field and funny he offered to buy Grace and I a Celebration drink..of course I got his autograph..he really is a nice person. Thanks for the comment again!
Jeff
Jeff & Grace, I have never been a big TOMMY fan, but I have a ton of respect for him.
Danny: Really ?... me neither but it is for a good cause as I do enjoy giving and contributing to the Univeristy of Valpo Sprorts Programs and I will have 2 autographed baseballs...One for me and one for my father. Hope all is well for you and your family.
Jeff
We'll all be watching, too; it's always a nervous time for the boys (ah, men).
I bet it is Terry - thanks for letting us know about them and we'll be cheering!
Sincerely,
Grace
