Ellsworth County Kansas is approximately 717 square miles with an average county population of about 6,000. Ellsworth County has its county seat in the town of Ellsworth. It has a great little downtown area and is the center for the county. It is located in Central Kansas and is known for its post rock scenic byways and great fishing and hunting.
