August 2007 brought the sale of 136 Douglas County homes which was way down from last month's 184 homes. Average DOM (days on market) was 74 which was the same as last month. It was nice to see homes being SOLD on average just a little over two months. When you subtract the usual 30 days until closing, homes are really only on the market for about 44 days.
Rural Douglas County Kansas Real Estate had 8 homes sell this past month with an average price $385,800. Average DOM for Rural Douglas County was 138 days.
For Rural Douglas County, $750,000 was the highest price and $150,000 was the lowest price. For the whole county, $880,000 was the highest price and $68,000 was the lowest price.

Nice consumer update Rob. I do not see that many designations very often....you have spent some time in the profession and your consumer update shows it. Very nice.
Thanks Broker Gary! My broker provides incentives to get our designations but I would have gotten them anyway since that is how I believe we best serve our clients (with the great coursework afforded through the graduate level classes).
