FSBO Beware

I am currently working on a FSBO getting the buyer financed. This process is much more difficult with someone that has way less than perfect credit. Not listed on MLS witch creates problems. Realtors are there for a reason. They get the paperwork all together and get everything signed. Why is it that people think that the house is going to cost less if yo do FSBO all it means is that the seller is going to make more money and run into multiply problems.

appraisal and chain of title should cover the mls issue.

i get a few fsbo deals per yr.... the hard part is getting them to do a correct contract

The reason FSBO is more difficult is that the seller has no idea what is going on half the time. I have resolved the problems with this one. They just seem to be more difficult to get through underwriting, sales contracts ,signing, title companies, Want for the lender to use their appraiser to get the value they are looking for. Some people are just crooked.
