Here is another tip to share with my Johnson County KS Home Sellers that I believe will assist in helping you to sell your home quicker. Believe it or not, you will likely make more money on the sale of your home if you price it low to begin with. Sellers make a mistake when they decide to price their homes higher than the market warrants with the idea that they will reduce the price over time as needed.
Typically, the longer a home is on the market and the more price reductions that are made will cause a buyer to wonder what is wrong with the home. When this happens, my experience is that a Seller will end up selling their home for less than they otherwise would have had they priced their home low to begin with. I am not saying to give your home away or to undervalue it, but to price it from the beginning with the idea of making few if any price reductions. If you price your home too high, you will scare buyers off.
