Berea Ky Spoonbread Festival

For those of you who attended the Spoonbread Festival here in Berea Ky, thank you. It was a great 3 day event with lots of food, music, dance and exhibitions. We all worried about the weather, it was damp but the rain missed us and everyone had a great time. It is estimated that 15,000 people were here for the event. At the spoonbread tent we served up 264 pans of spoonbread, the smell of food and laughter was every where. The event closed with a visit from Elvis, and this alone was worth the trip. The 15 year old from Mt Vernon Ky did a great job.
