Memorial Day 2007
This picture was taken off Rose Island Rd. in Oldham Acres over in Prospect,KY. Some friends have a river house that backs up to the Ohio River. This is the wharf they built where you can view beautiful sunsets. My evening there on the dock provided just the inspiration to write my Kentucky newsletter. Whenever I am there, it reminds me of Key West! The view of the water and boats is amazing!

I used to drive out there in High School just to get away - there's a cool private zoo called Henry's Ark there...
but I'm just one of those people who likes windy tree lined roads going nowhere in particular
David, that little zoo is a trip! I didn't see the camel there when I drove by this time. That road is so relaxing to drive.
Lizette, the Wharf is where I'd spend all my time! You couldn't ask for anything more peaceful than water.
I want to be there - this looks so relaxing and quiet -

I did not write about it, but happy memorial day, sorry for delay :) sometimes I am just a flash , write a bit and get out from the rain.
