Log Cabins in Kentucky

Yup, there's still lots of them around as evidenced by this one I saw in Washington, KY the other day.
I was in the area to set a couple of radon monitors and couldn't resist turning around to go back and get a picture of this one.
Then I noticed that there were several of them not far away.
The oldest one I've inspected was over 200 years old!
Some neat architectural stuff in there, to say nothing of the history that goes along with them.
Gotta love the rockers on the front porch.
Wasn't anything like a "Building Code" when these things were built.
Well, let's add a few more Kentucky Log Cabins



Yes, that last one is still in use as the Washington, KY Post Office, established in 1799.
