Join Heiner Brau Microbrewery in Downtown Covington, LA for its 5th annual Oktoberfest on Friday, October 14th from 5 PM to 9 PM and Saturday, October 15th from 12 PM to 9 PM. Oktoberfest 2011 celebrates the touch of Bavarian culture that the authentic microbrewery has brought to the Northshore with a festival atmosphere of live music, German food and Heiner Brau's 2011 Oktoberfest Festbier (plus its popular Covington Brewhouse beers). Beck 'n Call Catering will have German-style food and Heiner Brau beers available for purchase throughout the festival hours. The music menu will include live Bavarian selections by The Julie Council Jubilee German Band on Saturday afternoon and New Orleans Blues/Jazz-style entertainment both evenings. Additionally, tours of the brewery will be offered during Saturday afternoon's festivities.
