Developed in late 1990s by Willow Homes, Village Green is yet another exclusive gated community on the West Bank of New Orleans.
Located in Harvey, LA, Village Green is a small community of well kept homes within an easy commute to the Central Business District or NAS JRB New Orleans. Low Village Green home owners association dues of $360 per year help maintain the attractive entrance to the subdivision, the front and rear access gates and the streets and lighting through the community.
What's nearby?
With it's terrific location facing Manhattan Blvd., Village Green is just minutes from shopping, dining, public libraries, golf courses and more. The explosion of retail development along the northern part of Manhattan Blvd. gives you easy access to stores like Lowe's, Sam's Club, WalMart SuperCenter, Target, the Palace Movie Theatre and a large selection of local and national coffee shops, cafes, fast food and dining establishments.

Lisa, I had to laugh at this, we here have two Village Greens--they were basically a group of stores we hung out in....including such notable Long Islanders as Billy Joel, I believe it's in one of his songs :)
Mana, it's ever changing...I can't decide what I like the best!
Carole, how cool! I'll have to remember that when I'm showing clients in the area :)
Lisa, such a pretty area, and I LOVE YOUR new toy!!! I'm still working on mine - in between posting, etc. ;-)
Teri, it's a work in progress :) The second version makes it much easier to customize, but I'm still playing with the colors to get them right. Thanks for stopping by!
I too wanted to second the "like the new look." I love that picture of the water!
Thanks, Karen! I took that at a local park and really liked it :)
Lisa:
