Chicago Vacation Turned Evacuation Day 3

Chicago's Vacation turned into Evacuation
Day 3

We attended the Philadelphia Phillies vs. Chicago Cubs today. Our seat were great, along the third base line. Getting to Wrigley Field after all these years was a dream come true. My first trip was schedule for August 2005. Hurricane Katrina cause that trip to be cancelled. As soon as you see Wrigley Field you feel like your stepping back in time. The stadium reminds me of the old Tulane Stadium in New Orleans. They tore Tulane Stadium down when the Louisiana Superdome was completed. You can see the players and you can almost hear what they are talking out. The crowd was very nice and friendly. I have never been to a professional sports type stadium where just about everyone was wearing team colors. I enjoy my self so much I allowed myself to have an Old Style Beer and a hot dog.

This trip was needed and the timing was God sent with Hurricane Gustav hitting our home state of Louisiana.
