The map below is a rough outline of the city district which is comprised of three subdivisions, Margaret Place, Margaret Manor, and McCain Subdivision.

Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive (formerly South Ryan), the Griffith Coulee, Shell Beach Drive, Park Avenue (both sides), and Ryan Street in front of the Immaculate Conception Catholic School are the major boundaries.

The Margaret Place Historical District is ideally located near the Christus St. Patrick Hospital as well as the surrounding medical community. Drew Park, Lock Park, and the Civic Center Boardwalk are all within an easy walk. As you can see, Interstates 10 and 210 are easily accessible.
