Relocating pet owners looking for Veterinarian in Southwest Louisiana need not worry about the quality care their dogs, cats, and/or birds will receive.

In the Lake Area, we are blessed with multiple high caliber clinics for pets. Several of the clinics listed below offer multiple veterinarians.

Since this is a frequent question from those new to Southwest Louisiana, I thought I'd provide a list as well as some pertinent links. The list below is based off of information from the latest phone book. The clinic names are listed in alphabetical order within each city and include hours, address, phone number and if boarding services are offered. If a website was listed, it is indicated as well. I suspect that some that do not indicate boarding boarding and grooming services in the Yellow Pages, may offer.

Over the years, I've had VERY positive experiences with several of the clinics listed and I'm unaware of any negatives. Because Pet ownership is such a personal matter, I'm hesitant to make a recommendation. Instead, I've researched some links regarding this decision at the end of the list.
