This Saturday, (tomorrow), the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra is performing at the amphitheater in Slidell'sHeritage Park. The concert begins at 7 p.m.. Admission is free. I suggest any one interested to get there early. Some of the music played will include Tchaikovsky's Waltz from Sleeping Beauty, Khachaturian's Sabre Dance and Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 5.
Before the concert there will be an Art Walk from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Don't forget you lawn chairs, food, drinks and anything else needed to enjoy this show.

There are very few things that I enjoy more than an outdoor concert. Unfortunately, I don't go to them as often as I would like.
Hi John, How was the outdoor concert? I bet it was absolutely wonderful! And you can't beat the price-FREE!
How was the concert? My wife and I try to go to the ones they have in my town. They are great but we haven't found them to be kid friendly...
I love to take our kids to the free concerts, so they can learn new music. We only get a couple months a year that we really have good enough weather to do that though.
