I realize all sellers want to get top dollar for their home. I wonder how many of them know they have to do their part? This includes getting rid of wallpaper. Homes built in the late seventies and early eighty's seem to have one wall after another decked out in the former owners taste of wallpaper.
Remember this was your choice not my choice. Taking this stuff off of the wall and prepping it for painting takes a lot of time and elbow grease. I know I recently bought an older home and have labored to get rid of this God awful stuff. I repeat if you want maximum dollar for your home in resale value get rid of the wallpaper first and paint neutral colors on the walls. Or at least get rid of the wallpaper.
Can you believe someone actually paid for this stuff?
