Christmas Under the Oaks and Holiday House in Sulphur LA December 2-4

Christmas Under the Oaks is a holiday favorite in Sulphur, Louisiana!

It's highly unlikely that Southwest Louisiana will get any snowfall with our mild winter temperatures! If we had snow we would not be able to enjoy our beautiful Calcasieu Parish oak trees!

However you will find snow near the The Brimstone Museum, 923 Ruth Street in Sulphur when Heritage Square is transformed from what you see pictured below into a winter wonderland and twinkling lights during the Christmas Under the Oaks Festival in Sulphur LA. !

Thursday December 1st there will be a preview gala of Christmas Under the Oaks Tickets are $35 and all proceeds benefit the Brimstone Historical Society. You can purchase tickets in advance from the Henning Cultural Center 337-527-0357.

The Holiday House will be Open 10:00 am -8:00 pm December 2-4 and features more than 25 shops with decorations, gifts and more! On Saturday, December 3 you can bring the kids for Breakfast with Santa. Tickets are $5 and include breakfast and your Santa photo.

Sulphur, Louisiana also has a great "Ballon Parade" sponsored by the Sulphur Kiwanis that will begin at 3pm on December 3rd. The route begins at WW Lewis Middle School. Later in the evening December 3rd, Sulphur celebrates the annual "Spectacle of Lights" at 6pm.
