I was vacationing next door in Harwich but took some time to visit Chatham. With its beautiful beaches, upscale shops and galleries Chatham is a favorite spot for many visitors yearly.

Okay, so the boys love pancakes and since I had brought some of the blueberries I had picked weeks earlier I wanted to make them pancakes. However, I did not have jam or syrup. We stopped by this Art & Craft Fair in Chatham and met Jean at the Gypsy Wind Productions booth. She was selling all kinds of jams made by the Wild Maine Women. I bought a few jars of the unsweetened jams, that meant additional sugar was not used in the production, instead they were sweetened with white grape juice. It was a hit with the boys' pancake breakfast.

Jennifer, it looks like you are having a great time. So how far is this from Providence Rhode Island. We have a vacation scheduled there next September. I don't know my northeastern states all that well.
Jennifer those beach scenes are making my heart beat to go to the beach. Then you just had to mention blueberry pancakes with natural sugar syrup. Man, you are getting to me tonight.
I made blueberry pancakes last weekend too, with fresh Mi blueberrys. Yummy !

Jennifer I did a Loan for a Borrower in Chatham about three years ago (most of my loans are in CT), and I could not believe that taxes. This was an $800,000 house and the taxes were only $1,400+. That would cover one month on that price house here in Connecticut.

Beautiful Pictures As Usual Jennifer! We always use unsweetened jam and jelly here. I think it is sweet enough without the added sugars. My son's girlfriend has different ideas though and I recently discovered some jelly with sugar in the fridge. I think it is what you are used to but I love the flavor of the fruit that comes through clean in the unsweetened ones.
Hi Jennifer- Beautiful Pictures! I agree that the best jams and jellies are locally made unsweetened! We have a lady in New Paltz that makes them from her organic garden! Ummmmmm! I am glad you are enjoying your vacation!
Jennifer - I did this same vacation 3 years ago - we rented a house in Harwich and visited Chatham - which I totally LOVED! I would stay there the next time - more to do!

Marchel I will have to look it up, when we go on vacation I never drive so I never pay attention to the distance. If you go to Providence make sure go to Newport and see all the wonderful mansions along the cliff walk. Newport is another favorite of mine.
