365 Things to do in Worcester County - attend a voice recital in Holden.  Last week I had the pleasure of going to Wachusett High School on Main St., in Holden for a voice recital.  Sarah, my younger daughter has been taking lessons with Mr. Beck along with about a dozen other students.  This was her chance to show us and her chorus teacher what she learned during the year.

Now, I already knew that she was a gifted singer and that she really has a passion for singing.  After all, I've never met anyone who is singing constantly as Sarah does.  But what I discovered at the recital, amazed me and brought me to tears.  Really, I'm not an emotional parent, gushing at my children's accomplishments, just ask them.  But I was really taken aback at the improvement Sarah made and the quality of her voice.

Sarah performed an Italian song and a song "send in the clowns" from a little night music.  After the performance, Mr. Beck told me that he has never heard that song performed better.  I really am so proud and the best part is I taped the performance so you too can enjoy it and make it one of your 365 Things to do in Worcester County - attend a voice recital in Holden.
