Beautiful Mattapoisett

Beautiful Mattapoisett...a coastal town along the shores of Buzzards Bay

Last year my family relocated to Mattapoisett. We found this place completely by accident one day, as we were planning a day trip to Cape Cod.

The traffic to get over the Bourne Bridge was backed up for miles and miles, we decided to turn back after sitting in traffic for hours. We decided to take the scenic route along route 6. After a couple of turns we were on the coastline of beautiful Buzzards Bay.

We stopped at the town beach and spent the day soaking up the sun and relaxing! The atmosphere was peaceful & serene. The "village" located in the center of town features beautiful historic homes as we drove around admiring.

Since our day trip, we found ourselves going back until we finally decided to make the move. What a fantastic move it has been, we absolutely love it here.

Being a Massachusetts resident my whole life, I couldn't believe I had never found this place before.

Conveniently located off route 195 this is an ideal location for commuters, my office is just 25 minutes from my new home town.
