The sound barriers are coming, the sound barriers are coming! (Sorry but I’m from Medford and Paul Revere passed through the city on his famous ride!)
It’s been a long wait but finally sound barriers are coming, at least to a section of Route 93 South in Medford. This fall, as part of the bridge replacement happening this summer, sound barriers are going to be erected blocking noise from the highway from reaching residents in the city. Yippee!!
