In comparing year over year longer term data for Milford Massachusetts, it appears that there is still a downward trend in the average sale price for homes, as well as an increase in the days on the market for the same period in Milford MA. There was however, a substantial increase in the number of properties sold in the January to December time frame in Milford MA year over year! Milford is one of the few towns in the area that has had substantially more homes sold in 2008. This is due in part to prices dropping rapidly along with a good stock of affordable homes.

Bill looks like things have leveled in your area. Let's look for the upswing now. Great information on your market as always!
Hey Bill,
thanks for posting this important info on Milford. It's sure to be very helpful!
Bill:
A little softer than the last one you showed. This looks like about a 15% decline for the year to year.
Maybe this year will turn the tide.
Richard
With days on the market down by over two months it appears the sellers are realizing they need to reduce the price to get them sold.
Hi Bill! Your market report for Milford is, as always, clear, consise and to the point! DOM continue to climb here too but, if they're priced right, they do tend to substantially beat the averages. I think we're nearing the bottom, if we're not already there--keeping fingers crossed in those hopes!!
Hi Bill - Another very thorough market report. It is interesting to read several of your reports and compare the different areas. You have a wealth of information.
