Millis Market Watch – 20 October 2009

Currently there are 37 single family homes on the market in Millis. The houses have an average list price of $492,000 and an average market time of 205 days. There are five properties available for $300,000 or less. On the upper end of the scale, there are three properties listing for $700,000 or more.

In the last week three new single family homes came on the market. One is a 2 bedroom raised ranch on Dover Road. The next is a 5 bedroom antique on Causeway Street and the last is a 3 bedroom colonial on Exchange Street. They range in price from $339,500 to $359,900.

One single family home went under agreement in the last week. It was a 5 bedroom colonial on Orchard Street. Also, one property was flagged to go under agreement soon.

No single family homes were sold in the last week in Millis. However, there are currently 6 properties under agreement in Millis waiting to finalize the sales. All six of those properties will close before the end of 2009.

There are currently 21 condos on the market. The condo average list price is $265,000 with an average price per square foot of $166. Average time on market is 265 days. No new condos came onto the market but one townhouse on Main Street went under agreement. Also, another was flagged to go under agreement soon.

Two condos sold this past week in Millis. One was a 2 bedroom townhouse on Meadowbrook Road that sold for $215,000. The other was a 2 bedroom townhouse on Pine View that sold for $233,000.
