Norfolk, MA Market Watch – 7 October 2009

Currently there are 73 single family homes on the market in Norfolk, Massachusetts. The houses have an average list price of $583,000 and an average market time of 166 days. There are six properties available for $300,000 or less. On the upper end of the scale, there are ten properties listing for $800,000 or more.

In the last week five new single family homes came on the market. They are on Barnstable Road, Sweetland Farm Road, Gordon Road, Main Street and Quail Run Road. They range in price from $255,000 to $464,900.

Two single family homes went under agreement in the last week. One is a 2 bedroom ranch of Birch Street. The other is a 4 bedroom colonial on Day Street. Two other properties are flagged to go under agreement soon.

One single family home sold in the past week in Norfolk. It was a 2 bedroom, 4 room ranch on Hunter Avenue that sold for $231,000.

There are currently 18 condos on the market. The condo average list price is $364,000 with an average price per square foot of $186. Average time on market is 250 days. Two condos went under agreement in the last week - one on Winterberry Way and the other on Meethinghouse Road. One condo sold it the past week. It was a 2 bedroom half-duplex on Winterberry Way that sold for $382,705.
