First time homebuyer tax credit (get the money now)

As the deadline nears for the expiration of the tax credit for first time homebuyers, I wanted to share some information with my fellow rainmakers. When you are pitching this excellent opportunity to first timers be sure to mention that they don't have to wait until next year to file for the cerdit. If fact they can get their money now. All they have to do is contact an accountant familiar with the program and amend their 2009 tax return so they can get the money much sooner. I think this will go a long way to getting those people who may still be on the fence to act now. It has certainly worked for me. Good luck!
