As a lot of you know, I have been writing almost daily posts on ActiveRain for more than a year. Sometimes, my posts catch your interest, and you comment. Most of the time, they are like a tree that falls in an empty forest. Have I really made a noise?
A few months ago, I was at a social function with a friend and writer for the Milton TIMES, Kathy Kurtz Ferrari. She and I had the normal "what's new" kind of conversation, and I told her about my new found commitment to ActiveRain and how much I was enjoying the interchange with real estate professionals across the nation.
The rest is, as they say, history. She interviewed me, took my picture and the article appeared today in the paper. If any of you would care to read it, I can easily make it available.
Kathy is an excellent writer. She did not write so much about me as what impact ActiveRain has had on our community. So, the piece is more about the changes in the way we present ourselves, and how real estate sales and production is changing right before our eyes. Kathy visited the ActiveRain blog-site and told me how impressed she was with the depth of analysis she sensed in our writing and how she sensed that ActiveRain was a bus you needed to board, or the real estate industry might pass you by. These are my sentiments exactly, and it was an honor to be a focal point of her incisive article.
