Goodbye Dartmouth Fitness Center

Yesterday was a very sad day, as I walked into the Dartmouth Fitness Center for the very last time.The movers were wheeling out all of the fitness equipment, nothing left but a few elliptical and some dumbbells.

When I joined the Dartmouth Fitness Center last year, the were known as Golds Gym. I was reluctant to join because I already have a few other gym memberships but for $19.99 a month, no contract and my husband really wanted to join.

I never expected this to be my main gym! But after working out with my husband a few times, I enjoyed the atmosphere and learned how to use some equipment that my other gyms didn't offer. I also, didn't expect to workout much in the "guys gym" as I termed it.

So as my normal routine calls for Fridays being cardio day,I was probably the last customer actually working out at the Dartmouth Fitness Center yesterday. I was told a few of the "die hards" showed up, I want to thank you and let you know you served me well.

In closing, the memberships at Dartmouth Fitness Center will be honored at Champions Fitness Center on Purchase St., New Bedford, MA for the same low rate of $19.99 a month!
