Block 11 is definitely one of my favorite spots in Somerville. Though it only opened a short while ago, I see the same faces there over and over again. It's given even more personality to one of my favorite neighborhoods. There a vegan soups, great salads (try the Union) and their iced chai is fantastic. A progressive, upbeat atmosphere, great music and a creative menu. There's outdoor seating available too, a great advantage on a beautiful day! The restaurant is located at 11 Bow Street, (617) 623-0000.
