After the two snow storms the weekend of January 16, 2009, I went outside to capture some of the beautiful scenery on the street. Below are a few photos of Tannery Road that I hope you will enjoy.
Snow-Covered House and Pines
You have to act quickly to snap photos of this pristine beauty. When the land was first being cleared, the developer maintained many of the natural plantings on each lot. This has resulted in a setting that is more natural than many other new neighborhoods.
Clearing the Snow
The snow blowers were buzzing all afternoon as residents cleared their driveways and sidewalks.
Street Lamps
Even the streetlights were topped with fluff. The original lamps were hand-crafted by an independent, local tinsmith, and when one is in need of repair, the residents now look to a tinsmith at Old Sturbridge Village.
