Truro Vineyards

In March 2007, the Roberts family purchased Truro Vineyards here on Cape Cod.

As it states on the Truro Vineyard website, the Roberts family's plan for Truro Vineyards is simultaneously practical and visionary. It's important for the new owners to maintain the success the winery has enjoyed for the past 15 years as a landmark on the seaswept easternmost end of Cape Cod. Every summer, thousands of wine lovers tour the vineyard and winery to enjoy both the educational and the tasting experience. Thanks to modern wine making technologies available almost for the first time, there are plans to reach beyond the estate grapes, to make expressive, individualistic wines from some of America's finest wine regions.

During the summer, tourists from all the world come to Cape Cod and venture to Truro and visit Truro Vineyards. Wine tastings are held outdoors under the tasting tent near the vineyard. People are thrilled to sit down and relax as the owners explain the nuances of wine and lead them through the selection of nine wines. In season, guided tours of the vineyard and winery are offered as well. Tours are usually at 1pm and 3pm from May to October.

If you are looking for something different and unique to do here at the tip of Cape Cod, a visit to Truro Vineyards is a must- as well as taking home a few bottles of their fine wine to enjoy after you leave Cape Cod! They are located right on Rte 6-A in North Truro. Phone # is 508-487-6200.
