This is a major turnaround from the second quarter where sales increased 25%. The second quarter reflects activity due to the $8500 tax credit which was an incentive to buyers. Homebuyers may have moved to buying homes as they have become more affordable and financing is easier.
The average sales prices for Waltham MA condos changed from $324,161 in 2009 to $320468 in 2010, a 1% decrease in value. The Q2 average sales prices were in the same range. The days on market changed 26 % from 73 to 92.
