Worcester, Massachusetts - city of colleges

One of the draws to living in Worcester is it's colleges and universities. There used to be a billboard by the Shrewsbury St exit of 290-E that listed 10. It's not there now, but the colleges still are, save one.

Living in Worcester, it's not a matter of "if" I go to college, it's "where". And having that many colleges in such a small area means that you may find people from age 16-76 in class next to you!

Quinsigamond Community College offers many pathways into four-year colleges and universities. For instance, with a 3.0 GPA and an Associates Degree from QCC, you are guaranteed admission to Massachusetts State Colleges along with a 1/3 reduction off of in-state tuition. A graduate with a 3.7 GPA is eligible for a $10,000 Presidential Scholarship at Clark University.

Another reason to choose Worcester when buying a home - Clark University offers FREE TUITION to residents who meet the University's admissions requirements and who have lived in the Main South neighborhood for at least five years.
