Harford County: Traffic Advisory for Rte 24: May 2011
WHAT: Weather permitting, the ramp from southbound MD 24 to northbound Interstate 95 will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to continue on southbound MD 24, to a u-turn at Edgewood Road, to northbound MD 24, to northbound I-95. In addition, the ramp from northbound I-95 to northbound MD 24 (Exit 77A)will be closed. Motorists should take Exit 77B to access northbound MD 24.
WHEN: Sunday, May 8 through Thursday, May 12, from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning. In the event of inclement weather, the closures may take place subsequent days excluding Fridays and Saturdays.
WHY: Crews will be paving on southbound MD 24 as part of the I-95/MD 24 Improvement Project. Call the toll free hotline at 1-877-368-1141 to hear project updates and construction information.
