Winter Arts & Crafts International Fair in Bethesda Sat. Dec. 11 2010

Families and shoppers looking for an international experience can stop in on Saturday at the French International School / Lycée Rochambeau's annual Winter Fair. It runs from 9:30 to 5pm, and there will be everything from imported hand bags to locally produced items and a buffet. You can pick up something really unique for a holiday gift. There is hand-crafted jewelry, table cloths, leather pouches, something for everyone.

Children's actvities include Pottery and Face painting, Gingerbread and Cupcakes decorating, Hair Breading, and WII Dance. Le Père Noël, or Father Christmas, will make his appearance between 10am and noon, and is available for photos.

The buffet will include couscous, pastries, crepes, pizza -- international offerings to be had for a small donation.

The school is located at 9600 Forest Road, Bethesda MD 20814, near the YMCA. All proceeds go to benefit classroom improvements at the school's Rollingwood campus in Chevy Chase.
