There were 88 active listings in Clarksburg in January 2012, compared to 100 in January of 2011 – a 12 percent drop. During the same timeframe, the number of new pending contracts was up 27 percent.

So, supply had decreased and demand has increased. Whether this trend will be sustained remains to be seen, but it would be welcome news to home sellers.
