The Randy Edsall era begins tonight for Terps football, and we'll be there as the Terps take on the Miami Hurricanes. We've been season ticket-holders for over a decade, and the season opener always has a certain magic. When it's a night game, usually followed by fireworks, all the better!
But alas, there's a 90% chance of heavy rain, according to the NOAA.gov website - a pretty reliable source. Now THAT could put a damper on anything, including this much-anticipated football game. Will that stop the Woda's?
One thing is for sure: We won't miss tailgating before the game since our gang parks at the Regent's garage and we can party under cover while my brother braves the elements to cook outside under a makeshift cover. We'll certainly be in the stands for the pre-game pageantry and unveiling of the new Terps uniforms. My husband would stay 'til the final whistle if it were up to him, but I'm a fair-weather football fan.
I'm thinking we should take two cars. To tell the truth, I'd rather watch the game on TV than in the rain. Just sayin'... :{
(Sorry, no photo because Activerain is acting up. I'll try again to add one later.)
