Nails & Lunch in Crofton, Maryland

My neighbor called me up and said she needed to get her nails done but her car was in the shop. I decided I needed a break so told her I'd drive. She likes to go to T.P. Nails, which is a nail shop here in Crofton right next to Christopher's Restaurant. It's on the same side of the street as Blockbuster, behind the Dunkin Donuts. The Rt. 3 section of Crofton is pretty small so it's easy to find!

Anyway, we ended up really having a nice time, enjoying being pampered getting manicures and pedicures. The prices are really reasonable, you don't need an appointment, and the pedicures are just heavenly! Very friendly staff as well.

Afterwards since it was around lunchtime, we went next door to Christophers Restaurant, a popular Crofton restaurant.

I'm really picky about my coffee. I find that some restaurants have a good menu, but their coffee is really cheap and barely drinkable. I'm happy to report that the coffee at Christophers is really good - I had 3 cups so you know it was good!

I wasn't very hungry so we ordered the house salad with various greens and a home-made delicious vinagarette. They ought to bottle this stuff - really very good.

We also ordered the crab dip which came with a small loaf of bread. The crab dip was fantastic, chunks of lump backfin, lots of cheese... yummm!

I haven't been dissapointed by anything that I've ordered at Christophers yet - you might want to try it next time you're looking for a good restaurant to try. (no, they didn't pay me to say this!!! LOL)
