Chesapeake by Del Webb is a unique active adult community with just 452 single-family style homes. Upon opening in 2002, the first section of the community was open to residents of all ages. The remaining sections were then developed in true Del Webb fashion as age-restricted enclaves open to residents age 55 and better.

Chesapeake is located in the small town of Easton which is a charming East Coast town still close to major urban centers such as Annapolis, Baltimore and Washington D.C. The area features numerous annual events such as the June Chamber Music Festival, the autumn Waterfowl Festival and First Friday Gallery Walks. Just minutes from the community are everyday conveniences, retail shops, restaurants, golf courses and more.

The homes of this Del Webb community were built between 2002 and 2011. Today the community is sold-out of new construction homes yet there is always a nice selection of resale homes available. Prices range from the low $300’s to the low $400’s. When built as new construction there were seven single family floor plans to choose from sized from 1,600 to 2,900 square feet. The homes offers two or three bedrooms, two or three baths and two-car garages. The Del Webb designs offer beautiful open spaces perfect for today's active adult. The majority of the homes are single-story ranch style with a few two-story options available as well. The two-story homes feature main floor master suites.
