FREDERICK POLICE DEPARTMENT BUSINESS INFORMATION SURVEY"The Frederick Police Department desires to be responsive and informative in the provision of law
The Frederick Police Department is developing a database on local businesses as part of their efforts to protect the business community. They are asking for contact information on the 6,000 businesses within the city limits. This represents about two-thirds of the 9,000 businesses in Frederick County, Maryland.
The following is the announcement and the link to the requested form.
enforcement services. We are seeking information about businesses in order to be able to contact an
owner or representative in the event it is necessary to advise you of activated alarms, crime in your
area, or to investigate crimes that have already occurred. The information you provide is strictly
voluntary, and it will not be shared with or used by anyone outside of the Frederick Police Department.
We will always desire to have updated information for our records. If any of the information you
provide changes, please be sure to let us know. If you have any questions, you may call 301/600‐2715."
