This Just In...DC Housing Market is Starting to Stabilize

Even though home price are still lower than last year, they are starting to rise. Good News...Finally! According to two reports, Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller index and Federal Housing Finance Agency shows that the housing market is improving. Home sales have increased both in existing homes and new homes. Granted these numbers are much lower than three yearsago but it is a slight improvement over last year. Both reports indicate that while there are gains, the housing market is slightly weak but showing a glimmer of hope.
