LOAN LIMITS INCREASE
The newly announced FHA loan limits, and FANNIE/FREDDIE GSE loan limits for one unit single family properties as determined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development are now in effect. For Maryland, depending upon the particular county, the FHA numbers have changed on the low end from a limit of $200,160 to $271,050 and on the high end from a limit of $362,790 to $729,750, and the GSE numbers have changed from a limit of $417,000 to between $417,000 and $729,750. These increases, coupled with the currently low interest rates, should be a very good incentive for Buyers to enter the real estate market.
