Ocean City MD, A winter Gift, 1 Day of warm Weather temps!

On a day when two thirds of the country is covered in Ice and snow with sub freezing temps, we here at the Beach in Ocean City Maryland were given a winter gift from Mother Nature! As I was driving to the office this morning it was 59 degrees and in the few minutes it took to get to the office it was 62 degrees.

As the day went on we were graced with light winds and the grey clouds gave way to blue sky's and sunshine. A few miles inland temps reached 65.

This evening I decided to take advantage of the weather and walk up to the beach to find a nice waist to chest high south wind swell working its way in. 60 degrees on land 40 degrees in the water!

You never know what Mother Nature will bring your way and it really amazes me, that just 75 miles to the North and West they are getting ice, snow and really cold weather.

It may just be a tease, but we will enjoy while it lasts!
