Double T Diner in Pasadena Maryland

After all my shopping at Home Depot, I had really worked up an appetite.

Double T Diner PasadenaThe Double T Diner is right across the street, off the Rt. 100 exit Rt. 100 exitso we decided to stop there for lunch. It's on the border of Glen Burnie and Pasadena, at the intersection of Rt. 2 and Mountain Road.

Dave and I always joke about our meals out because it's hard to get a good combination of everything we look for in a restaurant. Sometimes the service is good but the coffee is bad and the food cold, or the food is great and the service is bad. Well I was delighted with everything during our lunch. Double T isn't a fancy place, just a casual diner with an enormous menu. That's the only thing I had trouble with was deciding what I was in the mood for after looking through hundreds of options. Dave decided first so I copied as usual and we ordered a Greek wrap with gyro meat, feta cheese, cucumbers, and sauce and it was outstanding. It came with a large serving of hot french fries and a side order of coleslaw. For starters, you choose from a cup of their fabulous soup. Dave had the chilcken noodle and I chose the mushroom barley which was fantastic. Even the coleslaw, which I Double T Diner Pasadena Marylandnormally don't like, was good. On the dry side, not loads of mayo, more of a fresh taste to it. The coffee was even good. Not coffee shop good like a Starbucks, but absolutely fine, not too strong, nice, smooth and fresh and I got a timely refill without asking. The meal was delivered promptly and the waitress never forgot about us. A very pleasant lunch and I would highly recommend if you are looking for good food in a casual environment. They also have a huge case of desserts but the serving was really large and I was totally stuffed afterwards!

If you're really hungry and looking for some good food and coffee, try the Double T. I hope you enjoy your lunch as much as I did!
