FORE!!! Golfing in Frederick County

Hollow Creek Middletown MDWhen you ole' duffers are ready to go out and knock around a little white ball for awhile, here is a list of places to go in Frederick County. I have not played all of them (yet). They are all unique in their own way and offer their own challenges. They vary from semi-private to public. Clustered Spires is a great course for the price and it's managed by the city of Frederick. If you get a chance, go check it out. On of the cheaper course for those of you looking to improve your game, try out the Frederick Golf Course...You will see it is rated in the Pasturegolf.com. Just don't hit the cows, it will cost you a stroke. (just kidding, no cows...unless you are REALLY bad) You will know which ones I played, they are the ones with the broken windows on the house that line the fairways and the ones with the golf bag in the lake. See you on the links.

Bob - Hollow Creek looks veryinviting.  Thanks for another great post.

Marlene, You have become my best supporter of Localism.  I like to add something that would be of interest to current and new residents of Frederick County.  Of course, things that interest me too.  Thanks for stopping by again...

Bob - it looks beautiful.  Makes me almost want to take up the game. ;)

Bob, this is a great local post.  And that clubhouse is stunning.  When they decide to put it on the market, please let me know. =)

Maureen, I will warn the groundskeep to order more fill dirt for all your diivets.  ;-)

Maggie, Thank you.  Wait till you see Maryland National.  I didn't get out there yet.  You will be the first I call when it's pocket listing.

Look what I found in Bonita Springs, Florida today!

You sure that not here in Frederick?  Thanks for the plug!!!

I should have wiped the bird crap off of it first, though.
