In 2004, I became a registered member of the National Marrow Donor Program which is now Be The Match Registry^SM. Saving a life doesn't always require money or to be in the right place at the right time. For many of the thousands of patients with leukemia and other life threatening diseases, a bone marrow transplant is the only hope for a cure. 70% of patients in need of donors do not have matches in their families and need our help.
