Float Plane on Deep Creek Lake

The vegetation is really greening up here in the Deep Creek Lake area with the recent rain showers that were a welcomed sight. Nearly all of the docks are in the water now and people are taking advantage of the glassy waters before the tourist season.

My partner was able to capture video of a good sized float plane taking off from the lake around lunch time the other day. He was at Bill's rental docks gertting the picture on the fly and wishing he had a better camera, oh well. This sort of thing is normally not allowed on Deep Creek Lake but apparently this pilot had gotten prior clearance from the DNR.
